The Cook Islands is a fabulous destination - both the main island of Rarotonga and the stunning lagoon island of Aitutaki.

It is a little harder to get to from Australia with flights via Auckland at present but as Cook Islands Tourism says, it's only "two meals and two movies". There are sensational resorts, lots to see and do and great value on the ground as the currency is the NZ dollar.
